Fireworks at the Brooks'

The girls attracted quite a bit of attention with their flags.

One of our annual traditions is to visit the Brooks' house on the night of the big Memorial Park fireworks show. This year's display was on the Friday before the Fourth of July (and featured a concert with REO Speedwagon).

We enjoyed Mrs. Brooks' delicious treats and homemade lemonade, then settled in to watch the 10-minute (it was supposed to be 15) show. The girls added to the fun by asking drivers to turn up their radios and jam so they could dance while the cars were stopped at the light.
