The Cookie Party

One of our numerous traditions at this time every year is the McCarty's annual Cookie Party.

It's a chance for the girls to socialize with friends they see twice a year - at the Cookie Party and when we host Mom's birthday pool party.

Once again, Dad was out of town, working a bike race in Kansas City. (Click here to read the story he wrote about it.) But the girls still thought of him and brought a few cookies home with them.
