Emily's Basketball Team Still Undefeated

A little snow didn’t stop Emily and Dad’s basketball team from playing Saturday morning. The game against St. Stanislaus was a rematch of a game St. Mary’s of Bellevue won 35-8 back in December.

This time, the result was nearly the same. Emily helped the Spartans jump out to a comfortable lead on the way to a 33-10 win. Dad was pretty pleased with the way the girls played. His only concern actually came before the game started – when only four of seven players had showed up. We joked that Julia was going to have to suit up.

The team’s next game is going to be at Dad’s grade school alma mater, Christ The King.
