Day at the Airshow

The title of this post is a little misleading. We didn't actually fight the crowds to watch from inside Offutt Airforce Base. Instead, we followed mom's advice and went to her childhood viewing spot of the airshow -- the ballfields and park which overlook the base.


It was hot. And watching the show from a distance can be a little tedious. But we did get to see some pretty cool planes doing some incredibly cool stuff.


And afterwards, we got even cooler when we stopped off at Sonic for some ice cream treats. Heck, we might even consider it "Part II" of Olivia's birthday celebration.

By the way, UNO got the best of UNK in football (again) this year.
