So much for the "two people in the room" rule...

Danielle is now at seven centimeters, "definitely progressing" as Joan puts it. So for the first time all day, they will not be turning up the pitosin. And for the first time, the epideral is not keeping Danielle from moving her legs.

So, following five hours of frustration, we are finally up and running on the live Internet coverage from inside Danielle’s room. It’s a flashback to our first narrative back in 1997 – using a dial-up connection. By the way, Danielle’s mom thought “blogging” was an abbreviated term for “baby log.”
