Riding the Trail

Lauren requested a ride on the trail this weekend and she got her wish Sunday night. We ride from near 65th & Grover, south on the Keystone Trail, to a nearby elementary school.

Lauren took off like Lance Armstrong and we didn't see her again until we got to the playground of the school. Julia was insistent that she ride Emily's little bicycle (which had a flat tire).

The decision was a costly one on the return trip, as the rear wheel started shedding spokes, which led to the chain falling off. Unfortunately, this will be the last time you'll see the bike. Not bad, though, considering it made it through three girls.
