Veronica's First 24 Hours

Veronica slept fairly well her first night. She was asleep from 12:30 a.m. until 4 and seemed to prefer sleeping next to Danielle, rather than in her little in-room crib.

Veronica's nasal passages are a little swollen, meaning she is having problems breathing through her nose. However, she is a very good eater.

Danielle still believes her due date of Sept. 18 was off -- probably about a week too late. "She really acts older than she is," Danielle says.

Danielle is doing well. She seems to have fared better with this birth than any of the previous four.
