One Win, One Loss
Emily and Lauren kicked off their soccer seasons over the weekend. Emily's team beat St. Pius/St. Leo's 6-4, while Lauren's team (coached by Dad) lost 4-2 to Our Lady of Lourdes.
Lauren played goalie for the first quarter as her team built a 1-0 lead. She later played goalie again for much of the fourth quarter as Dad pressed her into duty, trailing 3-2. (She gave up a "junk" goal with seconds remaining.) Emily played mostly halfback and fullback in her game.
This week promises to be busy, with a pool board meeting, a kindergarten meeting, Emily getting her new retainer, a roller skating party, Emily's (belated) birthday party on Saturday and a movie night for mom.
Our house is getting organized, which is something pretty incredible to behold. It's amazing what can be done when you put a professional on the job. More on that later...
