Memories...

It was a sad day in the YD household when Dad saw the diaper bag sitting in the trash can.
It was no accident the little bag ended up there. It has done its time, carrying all the vital items needed to take care of little Julia, little Olivia and little Veronica.
This wasn't our first diaper bag. A slightly larger green version was around for Emily and Lauren. And like every parent of multiple children, you quickly learn what you should - and should not - be dragging around. The essentials that come to mind are extra diapers, wipes, a lovie, extra change of clothes and a pack of cigarettes. (Just kidding.)
If this diaper bag could talk, here's what we would expect to hear for its final words:
"I had a lot of fun traveling here and there. And when you left me home, I chuckled to myself - knowing you would miss me even more than I missed you."
Goodbye diaper bag. We'll miss you.

Was it "dead" or retired to the garbage because Veronica is compeltely (day) potty trained?
We're hoping to get at least another several-kids' worth out of our (first) diaper bag, although it is starting to show its age.

Aunt Annabelle:
The diaper bag had seen its better days. The zipper was broken and the lining was loose in too many places.
To clarify: Veronica is completely potty trained, no night, night diapers at all. She even poops in the "big girl chair." She was sooooo easy! Way to go, Wonka!
Side Note: We do still use the big black backpack style bag that you won for us on occasion. It is in excellent shape! It doubles as a "Sneak your own snacks" into the movie theater bag. ;)
