Sick Bay
Four of the five YD girls are laid up at home today. Sick. Feeling yucky. Fevers. Chills. Chicken pox.Chicken pox? Yes, Lauren (pictured at right) has a few spots on her back that resemble the chicken pox. And she's even been vaccinated for it. So the jury is still out at this point on what is going on.
Thankfully, Grandma Bep was able to show up on short notice to help with the girls. It canceled a shopping trip with Tante Mion (sorry!) but the girls were glad to see Grandma Bep.

Poor girls. I have heard that you can still get the chicken pox after the shot. Most of the time it is a mild case though.
Benedryl and oatmeal baths if they are itchy.

I've got to see if I can find that picture of you, me, and Paul when we all had the chicken box and mom dressed us in dad's white t-shirts because they were soft...

Ooo! Ooo! Hey, if it is chicken pox, call me. I'll bring the kids over to catch 'em. Last time I tried (when I only had two), they didn't catch it.
I've been trying to find a good time and case of them ever since.
