Olivia's Birthday - Part III

Olivia had her third and final third birthday party. This time, we were going to celebrate it at the pool. But the end-of-the-season party was postponed because of rain.

No, it wasn't Hurricane Katrina, but it was probably similar to what New Orleans is bracing itself for Monday. We had a gust front come in that lowered the temperature about 10 degrees. Then it started raining, with some hail. Pretty nasty storm, but because it wasn't at night the girls weren't too frightened.

Olivia got a bunch of presents, including a nice nightgown and an ironing board from the Brooks'. She also got the gift that keeps on giving (US Savings Bonds) from Papa YD and Grandma YD, who came over to eat with us. Olivia also enjoyed her nice Barbie cake that mom made -- and decorated.

The girls were all extremely hyper tonight for some reason. Even with bedtime being about an hour late, they weren't even close to wanting to go to sleep.
