Getting Ready For Valentine's Day

Apparently, store-bought Valentine's Day cards don't cut it in the YD house. (They worked just fine for Dad when he was growing up - and wooing Mom.)

So the girls spent many hours cutting, pasting and decorating homemade Valentines for their classmates. Mom's even featured elephants - her favorite animal. Thankfully, the day off from school provided enough time to get all the production completed in time (even the card box at right).

This morning, we woke up to find Mom had even made Valentine's Day cards for us, too (pictured below) - complete with a Reese's peanut butter treat.
