Dad's Officiating Crew

Here is a picture of the officiating crew for the National Collegiate Cycling Championships in Lawrence, Kan.

That's Dad on the far left. Uncle Neil is third from right. You might be wondering about all the different shirts and uniforms. The Chief Referee is picture in the front row on the left. Diane Fortini is a UCI commissaire and was the crew chief. Dad and Dave Fowkes (far right) were commissaires, thus the navy blazers.

The officials wore powder blue shirts while the motorcycle referees wear zebra stripes to make them more visible out on the course.
