Volleyball: One And Done

Emily's volleyball team is in the postseason (something the Nebraska football team will not be a part of later this fall).

Tournament play began Friday afternoon at Assumption, where Mom spent several years teaching second grade. Dad doesn't remember the gymnasium lighting being so poor, but it didn't seem to affect Emily's team. The Spartans won the first game, then lost the second game. In the decisive third game, the serving problems that plagued Emily's team throughout the match cost them dearly. When you're only playing to 15 points and you spot the other team a five-point lead, it's hard to come back.

So what's left? One more tournament next weekend.
