Still Undefeated

Emily and Dad's basketball team scored a huge victory this morning, beating a previously unbeaten St. Bernadette's team, 22-19.

They led 3-1 at the end of the first quarter, but trailed 9-8 at the half and later 14-10 after a three-point play. But Emily and the girls turned up the defensive pressure and outscored St. Bernadette 8-3 in the fourth quarter to win their fifth game of the year and stay undefeated.

Emily also played an Ice basketball game later this morning. She played good defense in that game as well (when she was in the game) but the team lost, 18-16.
