The YD Workin' Machine

Aunt Dee-Dee set up an assembly line at Pizza Hut.

The girls have been working hard, reading to earn their "Book It" coupons for Pizza Hut. So the other night we went out and redeemed them for personal pizzas.

Aunt Dee-Dee, ever the model of efficiency, brought along her newsletters to prepare for mailing. Olivia put a sticker on them. Julia folded them in half, Emily taped them shut, Dad put the address label on, Lauren put the stamp on and Mom put them in the box for mailing. Uncle Jon watched.

In the time it took them to prepare our pizza, we got all the newsletters prepared. Then we watched the restaurant get invaded by a huge Hispanic youth soccer team.

"Uncle Jon watched."

You see, his work was already finished. He helped with the content of the newsletters, so further work on his part was superflewous. Superfloueous. Superfluous. <- That one. (Where's Lauren and her spelling skills when you need her?)
