April Showers Bring May Flowers

The cool and rainy weather seems to have moved on (for now) and that means it's time to catch up on more things spring: like planting flowers.

The girls and Mom and Dad spent a good part of Monday night planting flowers in the planters that sit near our front step and garage. Mom had purchased a bunch of them about a week ago and Dad and the girls have been keeping them watered in the garage (pictured at left).

Julia also took the opportunity to plant a couple seeds that she had from school. The seeds are apparently fruits, so she'll need to water them daily. We planted them near the fence on the side of the house, where hopefully Dad won't run over them with the mower.
