Lauren's Bike Ride

Lauren and Dad spent about 45 minutes riding Saturday.

When Dad asked the girls who wanted to go on a bike ride Saturday, they all said "yes" (initially). But when it came time to actually "kit up" and hit the road, only Lauren was ready to go for a spin.

That was just fine with Dad. The quality time together amounted to about a 45-minute ride that included a stop at Churchich Park and Aunt Dee Dee's house. The total distance amount to about three miles, which included a few laps on the jogging path at the park.

According to Dad, Lauren has excellent bike handling skills and she rides very defensively. At several intersections, she was pro-actively waving cars to go ahead and she never stopped close to traffic. So she takes after her Mom when it comes to bike riding. She is definitely a quick learner with a lot of potential.

A look at the route for Lauren and Dad's Saturday ride.

Sean,
Dude you need to get new pedals!
I remember following those Mavic pedals in 1991. And they were old then. Find a museum, there classic!
Nice to see your still on a bike!
If you ever get to Wisconsin look me up.
