More Rain Than Ever Before

The bowl to catch the leaking rain water was full this morning.
The photo at right does NOT depict the storm that struck Omaha Tuesday night. But it very well could have been a good representation of the sight of lightning darting across the sky and the crashing sound of thunder that started at 8:30 p.m. and lasted until well after 1 a.m.

These storms are getting a bit old. It used to be that Omaha rarely got rain in June or July. Now, the storms we came to expect in April and into May have pounded us in May, June and now July.
