Olympic Swim Trials: Dad's Pics
The U.S. Olympic Swim Trials wrapped up Sunday night and Dad got a couple chances to see the action up-close-and-personal in the Qwest Center.
The most spectacular night had to be on Independence Day. That night, every seat in the arena had a T-shirt on it (about 13,500+) and the shirts alternated between red, white and blue. Dad and his boss, Wes, found some empty seats in a blue section, which resulted in him bringing home six (blue) shirts. Everyone was also given an American flag as they came in the door.
Here are a few photos from Dad's camera phone:
Tickets to the evening sessions started at $40 and went up to $60.
Here's the view of the red, white and blue sections, which probably looked great on NBC.
Someone put Wes's photo on the Energy Zone screensaver.
