Emily's Soccer Team Wins First Game

Emily's soccer team ("Da Raiders") won its first game tonight, 7-3. (As I was reminded, they played a game last week but the result was a 2-2 tie.)

As Uncle Jon referred to it, this was "a grueling road trip" for them. Perhaps that's because the game was played at 205th & Maple in ELKHORN. Not sure who does the scheduling for 10-and-under CYSL, but they might want to rethink the divisions. They also seem to forget that the Nebraska football team tends to play its games on Saturday afternoons, since most of Lauren and Julia's games are at the same time the Huskers play.

Danielle is ready for the baby. Friday would not be bad. "9-9-5" looks pretty distinctive as a date of birth. We'll see.
