Dad Begins His New Job

Dad's bike racing team is ready to roll in California.
The Tour of California begins Sunday and Dad can't wait for the race to get started.

Friday, he'll be in San Francisco to coordinate the pre-race interviews and press conferences. Then, as the race works its way down the coastline, he'll be handling media opportunities for the team at each start and finish venue.

Last year, Toyota-United was the only domestic team to win a stage (two, in fact) in a race that featured more than half-a-dozen international pro teams. This year, the competition is even stiffer and the field of nearly 200 riders includes the reigning world champion, Paolo Bettini.

Dad won't be taking the camera and Mom won't have the computer. So it'll be interesting to see what's posted here in the days to come. Stay with us.
