The Family Picture

Everyone dressed in their Sunday best - on Wednesday night.
Photography studios must just love it when they see us coming.

Seven subjects. Five children. All of them girls. Yep, this family must have plenty of grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc., who would like to have a picture of them. All 8 x 10's, right?

So when we showed up to get our picture taken for the church directory in order to receive our "free" 8 x 10 picture, we knew there would be a sales pitch.

But Mom, in her everlasting wisdom, was quick to say, "we can't afford that," when they flashed a $220 package in front of us. We still took a hit, but escaped with some pretty good pictures. (Pack the kids up, Mom, we're headed to Sears next time!)

Anyway,it turned out that the first batch of poses with just the girls were cute - but Veronica just wasn't smiling her best. So we tried again. This time, we got a bit of a smile out of her.

When will we (and you) get to see the results? About four to six weeks from now.
