What is it with the YD family and cameras?

That's the question that has Mom and Dad scratching their heads this week. If the camera isn't lost (better word: "misplaced") than it is usually broken.

By Dad's count, we have gone through three digital cameras, counting the one that was recently put "permanently out of service" by Veronica.

Unlike the one we lost about a year-and-a-half-ago, this one comes with a good story. It's actually told in photos from the memory card we were able to recover from the now-useless shell.

We've mentioned Veronica's fascination with water before. Mom has speculated that Veronica will grow up to do something with water - be a marine biologist, perhaps. Apparently, Veronica felt a need to wash the camera. And like Dad's Blackberry that took a dip in the washing machine a few months ago, the camera did not survive.
