Ready For The Spelling Bee

Lauren and Julia spent a part of the weekend getting ready for Tuesday's school spelling bee that is part of Catholic Schools Week.

Lauren won her third grade competition while Julia is an alternate. Both of them were doing written and oral tests with Mom, Dad, Aunt Dee-Dee, Grandma YD and anyone else who would toss a word their way.

Mom and Dad have a special offer on the table for Lauren. If she receives the word "fertilizer" and spells it like this, she will earn a nice little cash reward:

"Fertilizer. P-O-O-P Fertilizer."
