A Landline Is Your Lifeline

Here's something you don't see every day - or hardly at all.

This pay phone sits in Pioneers Park in Lincoln, near the Pine Bowl amphitheater. It's a "Windstream" brand (think AT&T or Northwestern Bell). On one side of it, a slick graphic reads, "a Windstream landline is your lifeline."

Even harder to spot these days are phone booths. Keep your eyes out for them. And if you are at the Henry Doorly Zoo, see if you can spot this one.
