There's a Hole in the Roof, Dear Liza!

Uncle Brian came over to the house on Saturday to remove our leaking skylight. Turns out that there was more water damage than we originally thought. Dani and the girls enjoyed watching him rip a hole into the roof and the kitchen ceiling.
Even more fun was had when he actually could stick his head in the hole and talk to the girls in the kitchen! They squealed with delight. Then they figured that if they ran to the attic, they could see Uncle Brian on the roof. (see photo below)

After the skylight was removed; Uncle Brian gave Julia a guided tour of the roof. They took a good, long look inside the girls' bathroom skylight and the highest point of the house.

Uncle Brian has promised to come back over and finish what he has started. Side Note: All of this destruction and building was done unbeknownst to Sean (in California) so, Dani wagered $5 with Uncle Brian that Sean would not even notice the change. Guess who won that bet when Sean returned home on Monday. :)
