Chicken Pox Update: Day 4

The blisters on Lauren's face have multiplied.
(Pictured with Mary, her little lamb.)

Lauren is still "itchy" and suffering. The daily Oatmeal baths administered by Mom have certainly helped, though.

As you can see from the photo at left, there are many more blisters. For her to be able to go back to school, all the blisters will have to have scabbed over. So for now, she lies in bed, reading, doing homework and enjoying the coloring books and movies Mom bought Wednesday night.

Also enjoying her time away from the classroom is Julia, who is staying home again Thursday. She had an off-and-on fever the past two days. Combine that with Olivia's continuing tummy ache in the morning and Veronica's new habit of scratching and pinching people and it's been quite the week.

By the way, Mom is looking for the camera (again).

Poor Lauren. I remember having the chicken pox at the age of 17!!! Hopefully she can get scabbed over by Monday!!!

Julia sounds like she has the same thing 2 of mine have had in the last month. That can last anywhere from 2-5 days.

Hopefully everyone is healthy for Mother's Day!!!!
