'Tiny' Makes The Cover Of USA Today (Not Really)

Is that Veronica on Dara Torres shoulder in Tuesday's USA Today?
If you watched NBC's coverage of the U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, you might have seen shots of Dara Torres' family, sitting in the upper bowl of the Qwest Center.

What startled many of us was how much her daughter, Tessa, resembles Veronica (who is sometimes referred to as "tiny" around the YD house). It was uncanny. So when Dad picked up Tuesday's cover of USA Today (above) and saw the picture of Dara and her daughter, he shared it with the girls. At least two of them (at first) really thought it was Veronica in the picture.

Tessa Grace is about six months younger than Veronica (pictured at right). But the resemblance is striking. Who would have thought one of our girls looked so much like Dara Torres' daughter - who is now showing up in newspapers and on national TV?

Expect to hear (and see) a lot more of Tessa in the coming month since her mom is headed to Beijing to compete. At the age of 41, Torres made her fifth Olympic team - a record for an American female swimmer.
