Saturday NIght Is All Right

The girls had a busy day Saturday (as you can see from this post - and the ones below) and it wasn't all fun and games. Besides helping Aunt Dee-Dee with her newsletter, the girls also cleaned out the Suburban - scrubbing the inside, vacuuming it and getting the leftover items out from our trip to the Shriner's Hospital a couple weeks back.
On the cooking front, the girls helped Grandma YD make brownies, green jello and hamburgers for supper. Papa YD worked his magic on the grill and the girls did their part to eat everything that was available.Dessert was Julia's specialty: "Elephant Poop." It's a concoction of chocolate brownie, chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Afterwards, it was bath night (that's Veronica pictured above) and an early-to-bed to be ready for Sunday church.

These YD girls are turning into excellent cooks! Give Cousin Barb a call if you need any recipes. I love to bake too.
