Dad's (Other) New Team

As many of you know, Dad is working for more than one professional cycling team this year. Team Type 1 is a squad that includes pros with Type 1 diabetes who are providing inspiration for people with Type 1.

The team held its training camp in Buellton, Calif., for 10 days in late February and March. The weather was terrific but the days were long. Buellton is about five miles from Solvang, a town which was featured in the movie "Sideways" (which Dad and Mom have not seen). This makes Solvang and Buellton a "tourist destination" for a good part of the year.
