Emily's Big Basketball Weekend
Emily had a breakout weekend on the basketball court, scoring eight and 10 points, respectively, as her (and Dad's) team rolled to a pair of wins over the weekend.
The first one - by a score of 44-7 - marked the team's largest offensive output of the season. The second game (Sunday afternoon) was a 32-2 shellacking of St. Matthew in the first round of the CYO Tournament. The victory means Emily and Dad's team moves to the semifinals.
Uncle Neil helped coach the victory on Saturday, which raised his record to 1-1 in games where he has filled in for Dad.

Emily was on fire. She figured out how to use that backboard, finally! Now if we can just get her to shoot the THREEEEEEEE!

Great job Emily!!!! Jackie finished her season undefeated for her Y league. Too bad the girls are not closer they could play together in high school!
