Goooooaaaaallll!

What a chilly start to this sports-filled Saturday! We had to bundle up all the girls for Emily's soccer game. And fortunately, we were able to find a parking space that offered a prime viewing spot from the van. This made for a much more enjoyable experience for the siblings, who spent much of the game working on coloring and drawing.

Lauren worked out of the front seat during the game while Olivia seated herself in first class and Julia in coach. That's Uncle Jon's reflection in the window.


Emily's team was victorious against St. Margaret Mary, 3-2. It was a 2-1 game with fewer than five minutes remaining when SMM scored a easy goal with Emily at the fullback spot and Nina in goal. But St. Thomas More roared back with the winning goal about two minutes later.

Lauren vs. CathedralThe news was not so good for Lauren's team in its game against the Cathedral Attack.

Falling behind early, the St. Thomas More Lions did not match up very well against a team of mostly second graders. But at least they did not get shut out. Final score: Attack 7, Lions 1.

Yep, we picked up a win against the big green machine today. It was pretty exciting. Unfortunately, we couldn't get by Cathedral later on.
