DARE Graduation
Mom and Veronica were on hand Monday for Emily's DARE graduation. She received a nice certificate, as well as a folder with a ruler and other items in it. Deputy Police Chief John Stacey was on hand to congratulate Emily's class and thank them for their participation.Mom remembers some DARE sessions when she was in school but Dad never had DARE at any of his schools.

No, I never had DARE in my school either. But, it has been in the schools where I have taught.
Sean, I believe the DARE program began in 1987. I was way out of grade school by then! :)

I went to school with Chief Stacey's mother.
Looks like Emily is the tallest, prettiest girl in the picture.
