The YD Sandwich Bar

Making cold lunches for the next day.
Thursday was a "cold lunch" day at the YD house. Because of a school function (the Omaha Symphony's visit), there would be no hot lunch served. So the girls each had to pack a lunch.

Instead of having Dad do it, the girls all made their own lunches. If you watch the video, one of the girls asks why they don't make their own lunches every night. (That would be great, Dad says.)

On other days, Lauren likes to leave Dad her own lunch order. Here's an example:

Lunch order if we have school.

Sanwich (sic): peanut butter and brown sugar (1/2 no crust)
Chips: doritos
Snack (2) peanut butter and chocolate chip granola bars.
Dessert: Twinkie
