Dad Is FINALLY Home

If you have been reading closely between the lines on this blog, you might have realized that Dad hasn't been home recently. Like in nearly three weeks. First, it was the Amgen Tour of California that had him on the road, immediately followed by 10 days of training camp with Team Type 1.

Mom and the girls did a terrific job of keeping their sanity and living without the "weak link" of the house for so long. Actually, they will probably most appreciate him at breakfast time when he helps get their cold lunches ready and warms up the Suburban.

Meantime, the past three weeks, Dad has been organizing media, writing bios for racers and staff, working with photographers and generally working 12 to 15 hour days.

His return means he will also be on the bench coaching Emily's team Saturday when it opens play in the St. Bernadette Tournament.
