Field Day 2008: For Emily
So Mom and Dad were back in action snapping pictures and taking video during Emily's Field Day today. As for Emily, she was kind of in action. Dad gets a little bit frustrated sometimes that Emily isn't the ultra-competitor that he would like her to be, but at least she's out competing, right?
Emily looked great in the softball throw, tossing it six feet short of the class best by a girl (who is a softball player, by the way) and she also had a decent standing long jump. Her 50-yard dash resembled a jog more than a sprint, but Dad and Mom weren't the sprinting types either.
Mom is feverishly working to get everything ready for pre-kindergarten graduation, which is tomorrow.

Emily - It is good to see you smiling.
Dani - You will get everything done by tomorrow. You are such a good teacher and a wonderful mother.

I don't know many dads who would take time out of their work schedule to watch their kids at a field day. Sean you deserve a medal yourself for taking part in things like this.

Nice try at impersonating me "dana". Although what you wrote under my name is nice and fine, it's not from the actual dana. And just for future reference to anyone who wants to steal my identity, I never refer to Danielle as Dani.
Great field day pics, looks like Emily had lots of fun!

Emily has natural athletic talents (like her Dad) ... but of course, by her age, Sean had me out biking 3 miles a week and playing frisbee in the backyard each day.
Dana -- what's up with you lately? Is everything a conspiracy? I have a hard time believing there's only 1 person named Dana in this world. (Or that the only people who can be called "sis" is me?). Paranoia, perhaps?

I can personally attest to the fact that the Dana who posted above isn't the real Dana.
