Lauren Heads Back To School

Lauren made a return to school Monday, a week after her bout with the chicken pox began. She's still showing a few signs of the scabs here and there, but she is no longer itchy.

To her credit, she did a fantastic job of not itching the pox - even when she was crying out in the night "itchy!" or asking for more calamine lotion. And on the homework side, she kept up with the workload quite nicely. Like she told us one day, "I'm glad I got the chicken pox at the end of the school year and not the beginning because I know how to do everything now."
