Checkup With Dr. Stevens

Lauren opens real wide for Dr. Stevens.
Lauren paid a follow-up visit to Dr. Clarke Stevens Tuesday to get her palatal expander checked out.

For the past six days, Mom and Dad have been using a small "key" tool to expand the space between her two front teeth. It can be a painful process, but Lauren has hardly complained.

Tuesday, she sat in the blue chair (Dad sat in the red chair during his visit that morning to get a retainer) for about 10 minutes watching the movie, "Cars." Dr. Stevens looked things over and told her she will do 14 more clicks.

The only downside of the visit was that Lauren couldn't find her special T-shirt to wear. If she had, she would have received $1. (We'll see if St. Anthony can't lend a hand in that department.)
