Backwards Pajamas Don't Do The Trick

Wednesday night, the YD girls looked a little strange before heading to bed. That's because they were wearing their pajamas inside-out. It was their "good luck charm" for hopes that school would be called off this morning.

But it didn't work. The snow that fell last night was a powdery, fine mix. And hardly any more fell overnight, leaving us with about two inches of snow. The cold snap we're in didn't do the trick either. It was 10 degrees with no wind. So more snow and colder temperatures (and wind) would have been the perfect recipe to deliver the girls a coveted day off.

Instead, they awoke Thursday and got out the door on time. And everyone made the "hot chocolate cutoff" time, too.
